The stories on this are rampant but the one that is really most appropriate to the mood of this is the Kotaku story.
So it's finally over, video games are more popular than movies. I guess Hollywood can start converting their studios to video game development houses and reinvest their tens of hundreds of millions into video game projects. Or will they simply invest in video game to movie projects. Like World of Warcraft the movie and Assassin's Creed the movie. Sounds good, folks. Can't wait....
I hope actors and actresses are ready to be the voice talent in the next feature game. At least they won't have to worry about being in shape.
This story just goes to prove that Fact is all ways stranger than Fiction. I don't think we could have even dreamed this up...
