TRIAL OF THE WEEK: Biology Battle (Community Games)

OK, this week I decided to come up with another super awesome trial.  The game is a two stick shooter that bares an incredible resemblance to Geometry Wars.  But the game has an incredible difference in patterning that makes it more fun, and in my opinion more addictive than Geometry Wars.

There are more modes than the simple one.  There are multiplayer minigame modes that let you and some friends go at it.  Or you can play cooperatively.  The game is varied and interesting.  The graphics are interesting and certainly are more varied than those in most of the original Geometry Wars.

Certainly the tendency to compare the game to Geometry Wars is kind of overwhelming, but the idea that this was made by someone else is certainly amazing.  The game is SO GOOD that it was one of the first Community Games I purchased.  Even with a 800 point price tag you'll soon find that the game is so addicting you'll want to play a lot more.

As the increase of two stick shooters grows it's games like this that will rise above the rest.  Is there anything truly different about Biology Battle? No, but it does what Geometry Wars does, but better.  The game is so refined that it will make even the hardest core Geo Wars players want to keep going.
