Gaming press seems happy to throw Hellgate London under the bus and more than happy to give Tabula Rasa the benefit of the doubt. Take a look on Metacritic where Tabula Rasa has no score and Hellgate London has a 70/100. I have no idea why this is, but Hellgate London so far has an awesome start and the game looks very promising. Tabula Rasa on the other hand, seems a little unfinished. So is the press waiting to see how they finish it? I know some outlets are waiting on both titles but the fact that Gamespy who was given an early look at Hellgate London and Gamepro was probably granted the same; gave the game really bad scores off of what could have only been beta code, seems unfair. The fact that neither game for some outlets is done means to me that no one should be reviewing such early versions.But make up your own mind on why this happened and if it's fair.
