La Noire Pushed to 2009, kid...

"Amidst all the excitement for a few other Rockstar titles, it's easy to overlook L.A. Noire. A subdued PlayStation 3 exclusive with style to spare, Noire takes us to the grainy film period with a detective thriller -- but it won't be doing that for some time. Kotaku notes today that during Take-Two's 2008 financial conference call, L.A. Noire was no where to be found, and Take-Two said it's been pushed back to at least 2009. By the time the game hits, there will be even fewer people who remember what "noire" is. "

Do you think this is a big deal? Well, not really; except that this is just yet another example of the PS3 losing games for this holiday season. What will we be playing? Probably Ratchet and Clank: Future Tools of Destruction and the demo for LittleBigPlanet. Beyond that, it's starting to look bleak...
